Hannah waves to her cousin and shows her how the big kids play in the water
Molli screams in delight?
Hannah prepares to jump off the dock
The cousins hang on to Molli
Sophie grins from ear to ear
Hannah happily watches her cousin
The Uncles (or the Daddys) get Molli accustomed to being out in the deeper water
Molli and her cousins hang out
Molli floats to sea. Doesn't seem the least bit distressed.
Sophie had to make it crystal clear that she was still Pop-Pop's best buddy. NO ONE, not even her beloved cousin, was going to take him away from her, even if this meant she had to literally hang to him.
Sophie's wears Raggedy Anne's clothes from Deb's old Raggedy Anne doll. The hair is actually the dolls, who is sitting on Sophie's back
The obligatory cousins in the bath picture. Not many more years where this will work.
This series of pictures is from a blustery day at the beach. This picture is actually taken as everyone is leaving but you can see how much fun Molli had. Hannah is not in any of the blustery day shots because she was terrified of a dog that ran down to the beach. We were not leaving her out of the shots on purpose.
A happy family
A happy daughter and daddy
The wind has done it's work with Molli's hair
I like this shot because Uncle and Sophie are looking at the waves while Molli looks at the camera
I LOVE this picture. I love the way that Sophie is looking up at Uncle and Molli. I'm not sure what they are conversing about but I'm sure Sophie is imparting some of her seven year old wisdom to her younger (and thus less wise) cousin
Sophie strikes a pose
I had a lot of cute naked Molli pictures that I didn't want to post on the blog for obvious reasons but in this picture Molli has the shovel in just the right place
Uncle works hard to be the world's most fun Uncle while still being a great dad (he's got stiff comp. from Uncle Gene though)
happy girl
Gene enjoys an evening beer
Trine and the girls enjoy an evening eating popsicles on the porch. I like this picture because you can see how close we were to the water.
We were lucky enough to have Deb's friend Aly and her three girls come visit us at the beach house on our last night. Here is a picturee of all the girls having a Pizza feast.
Welcome to Honorasian! This blog started as a place for me to discuss race and racism, as I am the wife and a mother in an inter-racial family (my husband is Korean-American). However, this blog has veered from it's original focus into all sorts areas. Currently, it's a place to discuss all things related to the Corona Virus! Enjoy reading and feel free to interact!
